Read moreEON Foundation is pleased to welcome Mr Jonathan Taylor and Mr Roger Martin to its Board of Directors.
Mr Taylor, currently a Director in KPMG’s advisory practice in the Northern Territory, is a development economist with 20 years’ management consulting experience. His work spans the health, ageing and human services sectors, with an emphasis on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander justice, development and capacity-building. He recently moved to the NT from WA, where he was responsible for undertaking the first independent evaluation of the EON program.
Mr Martin is a director of private corporate advisory firm, Wyatt Martin Pty Ltd, which provides support to corporations on public affairs issues including land access, Aboriginal Affairs and government approvals in WA. An experienced executive with a strong background in government and public affairs, Mr Martin most recently worked in the Western Australian Government as chief-of-staff to the State Treasurer and Minister of Finance, Lands, Aboriginal Affairs and Energy, the Hon Ben Wyatt. Prior to that, he was a senior corporate affairs executive with Woodside Petroleum and a former journalist at The Australian newspaper.
EON Chair, Caroline de Mori AM, said the Board is privileged to have these exceptional executives join its Board.
“EON operates across WA and NT and relies on support from many Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal partners and stakeholders, including governments and corporations, to implement its ground-breaking work in remote Aboriginal communities. In delivering our successful health and nutrition program, it is vital that we continue to add to our current skills base and networks.
