Help Us Grow . . . with Workplace Giving

What is Workplace Giving?

Workplace Giving is a program that enables employees to donate a small portion of their pre-tax salary each month directly to charity.

What’s so good about Workplace Giving?

The impact of workplace giving is substantial.  For example, a monthly donation of $20, will only cost the employee approximately $12.60 (depending on their personal ATO tax bracket) but EON receives the full $20.

In many cases, employers will match staff donations, so the value of an employee’s donation doubles to $40 per month!

That’s almost $500 per year. So imagine if 50 people or more in the organisation were doing the same. That’s around $24,000 per year . . . and what we call making a difference.  Take a look at our infographic on the right – it’s great . . . right?

And it’s great for you too

Besides helping to ‘close the gap’ between Indigenous and other Australians, you will pay less tax as your donation will reduce your taxable income. As such, you receive the tax benefit up front, making cash flow easier and more predictable.

So get on board . . . and help us grow

We’re looking for champions at work to help us make a difference in the health, educational potential and economic opportunities for Indigenous people living in remote communities.

We’ll support you all the way and supply you with all the things you need to start the conversation with your employer including our comprehensive Workplace Giving Kit.

How we can help

We’ll attend meetings with you and key decision makers in your organisation, provide staff presentations to get the program off the ground and supply all the necessary documentation to implement our Thriving Communities Program as part of your company’s Workplace Giving Program.

We’ll give you posters, flyers and lots of content for your social media channels.  And then, when you’re up and running we’ll keep you regularly updated on the progress of your donations with newsletters, key updates and stories and pictures from the communities that together we serve.
