We are thrilled to announce that our long-term Ambassador, Dr Rishelle Hume AM, has joined our Board as a Director.
Rishelle is a proud Noongar woman with ancestral ties to the Whadjuk, Ballardong, and Gnaala Karla Boodja peoples of the Noongar Nation in southwest Western Australia. A nationally recognised leader, she brings to the Board over 30 years of experience in Aboriginal engagement across employment, education, justice, health, and community development.
Dr Hume is widely regarded as a trusted cultural advisor and strategic project leader, known for her ability to build strong partnerships between communities, government, and corporate sectors. Her contributions have been recognised through numerous prestigious awards.
She says, “My board experience, advocacy for Aboriginal advancement and commitment to community-led change aligns strongly with EON’s mission. My vision for EON is to empower communities through culturally safe, sustainable and inclusive programs that create lasting impact”.
