RAISE FUNDS FOR EON

For 20 years, EON Aboriginal Foundation has been working alongside remote Aboriginal communities to tackle one of the biggest barriers to good health – poor nutrition.

Through our Thriving Communities Program, we provide a source of locally grown fresh produce together with hands-on nutrition education in schools and communities to improve health and wellbeing.

Whether you’re an individual or a group, we’ll give you the tools and guidance to raise vital funds for EON and spread awareness in your own community – while having plenty of fun along the way!

WAYS TO FUNDRAISE

FUNDRAISE THROUGH SPORT

Sign up for a fun run, triathlon, or local sporting event and nominate EON as your charity. Join as an individual, form a workplace team, or involve your local club. Get creative with social media to share your fundraising page and rally family and friends to help you reach your fundraising goals.

FUNDRAISING FUN AT SCHOOL

Bring your school together with activities that are simple and fun. Run a mufti day, crazy-hair day or food drive, where students donate a gold coin to join in. Other great ideas include a bake sale, book swap, or even a lunchtime sports challenge – all easy ways for kids to help kids.

SOCIAL FUNDRAISING WITH FRIENDS

Turn time with friends into something that makes a difference. Host a potluck dinner, movie marathon, or board game night and donate what you’d usually spend going out. You could also ask mates to give in lieu of birthday gifts, or run a friendly trivia or quiz night with a small entry fee.

THE IMPACT OF YOUR SUPPORT

EON’s Thriving Communities Program now reaches more than 45 schools and communities across WA and the NT, teaching thousands of children and families how to grow, cook and enjoy fresh, healthy food.

Our team sees firsthand the positive impacts our programs have on children and the broader community. With improved diets come healthier children and students more energised and focused on learning. We’re also creating local jobs through locally led gardens and programs. Most importantly, preventable diseases like type 2 diabetes are beginning to decline where EON works – proof that lasting change is possible.
