EON is delighted to be partnering with three more Central Australian communities—Ntaria (Hermannsburg), Ltyentye Apurte (Santa Teresa) and Areyonga (Utju).
While each community is unique, all three have embraced the program with great enthusiasm, making for an inspiring and positive start.
In a short period of time, productive school gardens have been established and are flourishing, creating vibrant spaces where students are growing fresh produce while developing valuable skills in nutrition, gardening, sustainability and teamwork.
Teachers have also enthusiastically embedded EON lessons into classroom learning, helping students connect healthy eating and hands-on gardening with their everyday education.
We look forward to continuing to work alongside each community as the gardens — and the opportunities they create for children, families and future generations — continue to grow.
