We are delighted to welcome Andrew Dowding to the EON Aboriginal Foundation Board.

Andrew is a Ngarluma man whose traditional homelands are at Thalayindi in the West Pilbara. He brings more than 15 years’ experience working with Aboriginal communities across the Pilbara, Kimberley and South West regions of WA, with expertise spanning anthropology, Indigenous cultural heritage, geospatial technology, and Indigenous data sovereignty.

As Managing Director of an Indigenous cultural mapping, GIS and drone operations consultancy, and through his service on several Aboriginal organisation boards, Andrew has built a strong reputation for supporting community-led initiatives that protect culture, strengthen Country, and create lasting benefits for future generations. His passion for Indigenous cultural mapping and his commitment to empowering remote Aboriginal communities align strongly with EON’s mission.

We warmly welcome Andrew and look forward to the knowledge, insight and leadership he will bring to our Board.
