EON’s wonderful Project Managers deliver regular Healthy Eating classes to the kids in community – and ‘healthy eating’ for ‘healthy hearts’ was the key message during Heart Week 2022. There was lots of discussion on good fats and bad fats – and of course how to combine ‘good fats’ with lots of healthy veggies from the EON garden!
Charlie, our Project Manager in the fantastic communities of Beswick and Bulman in the Big Rivers Region of the NT, put the messaging into action using locally sourced kangaroo (oh so lean) with lots of veggies to make wholesome but delicious kangaroo bolognese! It was a win-win – good messaging, good food, healthy hearts!
