Meet Lance Ashley from Pine Creek

Lance Ashley, who was born in Katherine and educated in Alice Springs, works as a Community Assistant in Pine Creek. He brings a broad range of experience to the role, having worked in the mining industry, with Kakadu Rangers, the Pine Creek Health Clinic and as a Night Patrol Officer. An active member of the Pine Creek community, Lance spends time volunteering at the local school, including teaching traditional dance to the boys. Lance’s passion for, and involvement in his local community was recognised in the recent Australia Day celebrations where he received the Young Citizen Award.
In his role with EON, Lance assists with the school and Kybrook Farm gardens, and supports the Project Manager in the classroom. Lance believes the EON program can help bridge the gap to improve health and nutrition in community.
