PARTNER WITH EON ABORIGINAL FOUNDATION

the challenge

Preventable nutrition-related diseases in remote Aboriginal communities occur at some of the highest rates globally, including type 2 diabetes, kidney disease, as well as ear, eye and skin infections.

Poor nutrition doesn’t just affect health. It impacts a child’s ability to learn, grow and thrive. It shapes life expectancy, limits workforce participation and reinforces intergenerational disadvantage.

Despite this, the majority of investment continues to be directed towards treatment rather than prevention.

our approach

EON has worked alongside remote communities to improve access to nutritious food and embed practical nutrition education for over 20 years.

Delivered through our intensive five-year Thriving Communities Program, our model delivers sustained outcomes across:

  • Fresh food access and consumption
  • Child health and wellbeing
  • School engagement
  • Aboriginal employment and leadership pathways

We work side-by-side with communities to build local capability and leadership, ensuring change is owned, embedded and sustained over time.

a collaborative

investment model

To support long-term delivery, EON offers tiered partnership opportunities aligned to strategic, ESG and community investment priorities, engaging partners across philanthropy, family offices and corporate organisations.

This model provides the stability required to:

  • Sustain delivery across existing communities
  • Expand into new communities each year
  • Reduce exposure to short-term funding cycles

Partnerships are structured around clear objectives, with direct engagement and transparent reporting on outcomes.
