Here at EON we are immensely grateful to our supporters. This month we’d like you to meet one of our new donors, Jason Ellis.
Perth born and bred, Jason originally trained as a mechanic but later joined with his father and brother to run their remote kitchen maintenance business.
Jason is now Contracts Manager at CKSC, balancing the demands of a busy role with spending time mountain-biking and enjoying the outdoor Perth lifestyle with his young family.
CKSC was established to service the growing requirement within the remote site catering industry across Australia for a specialised commercial kitchen maintenance contractor. It provides a wide range of gas and electricity maintenance services combined with a mining focused design and specification service.
Why EON?
When Jason decided he wanted to make a contribution back to his community, the synergies with EON were apparent, both in terms of geographic area of operation and our interests in fresh food preparation and supply.
Having travelled to remote and regional areas across Australia, Jason has observed first-hand the challenges facing Aboriginal children living in community. Noting “we have a long way to go” Jason felt inspired to help by giving to an organisation working at the grass roots level.
